This will be a celebration of the very best artists & makers based in the South West and will take place as usual in the historic setting of Exeter’s Cathedral Green.

The festival takes place over three days on Exeter’s Cathedral Green; Thursday 4th (10am – 5.30 pm), Friday 5th (9.30am – 5.30 pm) and Saturday 6th (9.30 am –5.00 pm) July 2024

This combination of arts, crafts, food and entertainment has been a highlight in Exeter’s cultural calendar for 40 plus years. And 2024 promises to be better than ever. It’s the perfect place to spend a summer’s afternoon with friends and family, exploring over 100 stalls and getting to chat with inspiring creatives from across the South West. Over 90 makers have been selected to showcase a wide and diverse range of work that is guaranteed to delight and inspire. Discover functional and decorative ceramics to suit all tastes and budgets and buy direct from the maker.

Potfest South West will be held in the show field for the Gillingham and Shaftesbury country fair, just off the B3081, Shaftesbury to Gillingham road.

Coldharbour Mill Summer Fayre | Sunday 30th July

We have a fun-filled day for all the family at Coldharbour Mill on Sunday 30th July.

The Summer Fayre is open from 11am until 4pm with a suggested donation of Β£2 for non-members | Members of the Mill come free.

Parking is FREE in our car park around the back of the Mill.

Stalls will be inside the Mill and outside in our Mill Yard. We also have a selection of gazebos in our Paddock Area with entertainment situated around the Mill throughout the whole day!

The Bridwell Artisans & Makers Market enters its third year in 2023 as a vibrant, quality curation of unique independent South West makers, producers, growers and one of a kind finds.

An eclectic pitch mix of 50 to 70 stalls will unfold on selected Sundays throughout the year nestled within a dedicated β€˜Market Arena’ of the Estate parkland.

With something for everyone, we are thrilled to welcome visitors County wide to discover, enjoy and connect with each and every talented maker that joins us on a Market day.

The Artisans & Makers Market showcase is always within close proximity to the Estate’s popular Orangery CafΓ©, and a short walk away from our ornamental lake, the main house and not forgetting our parkland free roaming herd of Red & Fallow deer – lending itself well for a jolly good day out.

Bridwell Market Days carry the following visitor entry fees which will over ride any other visitor entry charges.

Adults Β£3, Children attending with adults free.

Dogs on lead indeed welcome throughout.
